The Eurolecturer award recognises those whose teaching of chemistry or chemical engineering at the tertiary level incorporates appropriate discipline specific pedagogy within a European dimension. It is given following a period of study and appropriate assessment.
The Eurolecturer framework was developed in the EC2E2N 1 Working group (2010-2012):
Creation of a framework offering lecturing qualifications for university teaching staff
In 2012 five lecturers received a Eurolecturer award based on this framework. Each of them redesigned his or her teaching and described the experience in a report. This reports are available as good practices and inspiration.
