About

CARD (Course Attendance Registration: Digitalized) is an application for digital registration of attendance using student cards or personal bar codes. CARD connects an RFID-card reader with a database system and the personalized website which displays person-associated information within one or more courses (for a student or for a lecturer of the course). The access to the website is realized with institutional ID (CAS, SURFconext).

CARD is open source.

CARD was developed by Timo Halbesma in a Grassroots project for university teaching in innovation with ICT at the Faculty of Science, University of Amsterdam, 2014.
