About Shaeen Chetty

I am a lecturer in the School of Chemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. My fields or interest are Environmental Analytical Chemistry and Chemical Education. I lecture courses in first year general chemistry and second year analytical chemistry.

Past research projects include:
- Assessing human activities on river health.
- Pollutant transport and accumulation in wetlands.
- Arsenic speciation in wetlands affected by acid mine drainage.
- Pollutant sourcing using Pb isotopes.
