In my research, I primarily focus on endocrinology and reproductive biology, with particular emphasis on the importance of hormonal balance in the proper functioning of the ovary. I study the mechanisms regulating the maturation of ovarian follicles and oocytes, which are crucial for reproductive processes.
Additionally, I investigate the developmental plasticity of adult stem cells, analyzing their regenerative potential and regulatory roles in the context of ovarian function. Specifically, I am interested in the differentiation potential of these cells into specialized cell types, as well as their capacity for cancerous transformation. These studies are significant for understanding the mechanisms underlying ovarian cancer development and their potential applications in regenerative therapies.
